Cuttack, Feb 29: Bhubaneswar-B registered a thumping victory by an innings and 52 runs over KIIT in a Group-B match of the Kalahandi Cup at the Ravenshaw Ground-I here Monday.
After conceding a huge first innings lead of 159 runs, KIIT batted poorly in their second essay again and were bundled out for 107. Biswajit Bhuyan (56) was the only batsman to offer some resistance. Prabir Nayak (4/30) and Manoj Barik (3/22) bowled well for the winning side to share seven wickets between them.

(AT SCB Ground): Keonjhar 256 beat Ganjam 145 and 92 (Subash Singh 5/37, Pramod Nayak 3/17) by an innings and 19 runs.
Karateka selected
Rajib Kumar Singh of Orissa has been selected for the World Shukokai Karate Championship at Amagasaki, Japan, March 20-29. The 12-member Indian squad will leave from Bhubaneswar, March 15.
