Sambalpur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who will come here Friday on a whirlwind tour, will inaugurate 17 projects and welfare schemes, a notification issued by the district collector’s office said.
The CM will arrive at Jamadarpali air strip at 11 am Friday by a state aircraft from Bhubaneswar and leave by the same aircraft at 12.57 pm the same day. He will attend 19 programmes including inaugurations, launch of projects and welfare schemes in and around Sambalpur.
He will inaugurate the much-awaited planetarium at Burla at 11.15 am after reaching there by road from MCL helipad. He will go there by a helicopter from Jamadarpali air strip. Then he will attend an inauguration function at 11.55 am near the main branch of the State Bank of India.
The CM will inaugurate four projects, Durgapali Bridge on Mandalia rivulet, Dhobijore Nallah bridge, Bhutapara Rotary and lay the foundation stone for Nelson Mandela Chowk there. Then he will leave for Birsa Maidan (PHD ground) by car.
Patnaik will flag off 12 new city buses and two body carriers for Sambalpur. He will inaugurate a new blood bank building, NSCB College hostel, renovated indoor stadium, ring road beautification and some development works at Huma besides laying foundation stones for proposed new RTO and the new circuit house.
The CM will come to Jamadarpali air strip for his return to Bhubaneswar after distributing Swabalamban health insurance cards to beneficiaries, assistive devices to persons with disabilities, work order for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana. He will also lay foundation stone for regional centre for disabilities and sensory parks for persons with disabilities. PNN
