Bhubaneswar: In a minor reshuffle among Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) cadre, the state government Thursday transferred 16 officers.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration (GA) department, Sitaram Patel has been appointed as additional district magistrate (ADM) Nuapada while Dilip Kumar Ray is posted as officer on special duty (OSD) in Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd (BSCL), a special purpose vehicle formed to execute smart city projects.
The government has posted Nihar Ranjan Das, Sudam Charan Mandal and Rajani Jani as administrative officer of medical college & hospital at Burla, Berhampur and Koraput respectively.
Further, Ajaya Kumar Jena transferred as ADM Sambalpur, Lily Kumari Kulu as additional project director (Admin)- Keonjhar, Jugaleswari Das as project director of District Urban Development Agency (DUDA)-Bolangir and Nivedita Prusty at joint secretary (Ama Gaon Ama Bikas) at Panchayati Raj department, the notification said.
Similarly, Krutibas Rout is placed as new project director of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA)-Bargarh, Lalit Kumar Kanhar as new sub-collector of Koraput, Gopal Swami Naidu as additional project director DRDA-Kalahandi, Deepak Routrai as deputy secretary at School and Mass Education department and Prasanna Kumar Dash as additional project director DRDA-Puri.
Besides, the government has cancelled the recent transfer order of Sambalpur Municipal Corporation commissioner Bimalendu Ray and special land acquisition officer Anandapur Barrage Project (Keonjhar) Asit Kumar Panda. Both the officers have been allowed to continue in the positions.
Meanwhile, the government has also promoted 134 OAS officers of Grade-A (Junior Branch) level to Grade-A (Senior Branch).
