BHUBANESWAR: Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council is set to organise an exclusive job fair for beauty and wellness professionals in association with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) at Nilanchal Polytechnic here Tuesday.
Trained and certified beauty professionals, hair stylists, makeup artists, yoga and fitness professional, nail technicians & spa therapists will participate in the job fair. The job fair will be inaugurated by eminent political members of the region along with members of the beauty and wellness industry.
This is a first-of-its kind job fair organised by the council in this region. More than 20 esteemed employers from the beauty and wellness industry including those on-line portals will participate in the job fair. The list of employers include renowned organisations Aroma Magic, VLCC, Indulge, Talwarkars, Budha Spa & Salon, Iris, Cavin Kare, Naturals and O2 Spa to name a few.

The government of Odisha has been working aggressively in skilling the youth of the state through their various schemes. This job fair was an endeavour to facilitate placements of these candidates.
The Indian Beauty & Wellness Industry is growing at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 18.6%. The employment in this sector is growing at a CAGR of 20% with 23% in the organised and 15% in the unorganised market. Events like this will go a long way in bridging the huge demand and supply gap in the beauty and wellness domain.
