“Whenever, I have to make a switch from literary landscapes, I indulge in cooking. I prepare some favourite dishes for my children and husband,” says the ex-member of Orissa Public Service Commission.
Cleanliness
“I manage to save a little time every day to keep my house and surroundings clean and I enjoy doing it. I supervise the domestic workers while they get it done, but I don’t mind chipping in to clean even the loos myself,” she says.
Travelling
“Travelling in my leisure time liberates my soul as it provides the opportunity to interact with people to enrich my experience and observe the intricacies of human relationships. However, I love to travel alone,” says the recipient of the Moortidevi award.
