Mumbai: HSBC Tuesday announced the launch of mobile app – Trade Transaction Tracker – to help customers track the status of their trade transactions on a real-time basis. This feature has been built into the existing HSBCnet mobile application and has been launched in select countries in which HSBC operates, including India, a statement issued here said. It will provide a global view of import and export documentary credit and collections transactions, across markets in one single app. “We have developed this feature in an effort to simplify the entire trade transaction tracking process, making it easy and simple for our customers to keep track of their trade transaction anytime, and from anywhere,” HSBC, India head of global trade and receivables finance Aditya Gahlaut said.
Comfortline Passat priced Rs29.99L
New Delhi: German auto major Volkswagen Tuesday launched a new version of its premium sedan Passat at an introductory price of Rs 29.99 lakh. The new Passat is based on the company’s MQB platform and is powered by a 2-litre diesel engine mated to a 6-speed automatic-DSG gearbox. The car comes in two variants with the entry level Comfortline priced at Rs29.99 lakh and top end Highline tagged at Rs32.99 lakh. Volkswagen Group Sales India, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Steffen Knapp said the company has opened booking of the new Passat from Tuesday and deliveries to customers will start from January next. He said the new model will further accelerate the company’s sales growth in India.
Booking opens for Honda CBR650F
New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited announced Tuesday that bookings are open for the new Honda CBR650F in India. The new CBR650F is a middleweight Super Sport style motorcycle with sleek, aerodynamic fairing and specially designed air ducts. It is built around a 649cc, DOHC inline, four-cylinder engine and a new 6-speed short ratio gearbox. The new CBR650F features additional features such as a new LED headlight, revised Nissin brake calipers, Showa Dual Bending Valve type fork and bronzed engine & head covers. Tally rolls out GST-ready software
Mumbai: Tally Solutions — the maker of popular Tally business software — Tuesday launched “Tally.ERP9 Release 6.1.1” which is the latest in its line-up of GST-ready accounting software. “Tally.ERP9 Release 6.1.1” will not calculate Goods and Services Tax (GST) on advance payments for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with an annual aggregate turnover of up to Rs1.5 crore. For larger businesses, the new software provides an option to account for this calculation while filing returns. “As a software provider, we have tried to ensure a smooth and seamless GSTR1 filing process for the SMEs. We will continue to work closely with GSTN and bring releases that can enable our customers and GSTP community to submit returns from our software itself in an easy and effective manner,” said Bharat Goenka, Managing Director, Tally Solutions, in a statement. According to the company, the new software will not calculate GST on purchases from unregistered dealers (URDs) as part of the GSTR1 filing.
Maruti bets big with S Cross
Bhubaneswar: Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) launched its new S Cross in the state Tuesday. “We launched the model nationally October 1 and today (Tuesday) we have launched it the state. The new version is delivered in four to six weeks and is available with all the six Nexa dealers of the company across the state,” Saurabh Wadhwa, the Territory Sales Manager (East) Nexa, said at the launch function. Nexa, which sells S Cross, Ciaz, Ignis and Baleno, will now also sell the new version of S Cross. “The new S Cross is fitted with DDiS200 engine and comes in four variants Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Their price ranges from Rs8.49 lakh to Rs 11.30 lakh,” Wadhwa said and added the company has invested Rs100 crore in developing the new model which is more than 95 per cent localised. It is available in Nexa blue, pearl Arctic white, caffeine brown, premium silver and granite grey, he added.
