Bhubaneswar: Orissa stormed into the semifinals of the Sub-Junior Girls’ National Football Championships as they came from a goal behind to thrash Kerala 4-1 in their quarterfinal encounter in Manipur, Thursday.
Manisha Naik was the star of the day with a stellar hat-trick. It was Kerala who took the lead in the 30th minute through M Sona. However, Sumitra Hembram restored parity five minutes later. Manisha then put Orissa ahead in first half added on time. She then added two more late in the second session (80th, 88th), to complete her hat-trick and help Orissa register an emphatic win.
