Bhubaneswar: TVS Motor Company Monday launched its first super-premium motorcycle TVS Apache RR 310 at 3S TVS showroom in Chandrasekharpur here. The dealer said the vehicle has already received 51 bookings.
“The TVS Apache RR 310 will be available within three months at 3S TVS showroom. The price of Apache RR310, likely to give competition to KTM RC 390, Benelli 302R and the upcoming Honda CBR250R, will be Rs 2.40 lakh (on road Bhubaneswar),” an official said.
The 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine was jointly developed by BMW Motorrad and TVS and is common to the BMW G 310 R and the Apache RR 310. The DOHC motor produces 34hp at 9,700 rpm and 27.3Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm. The body lining is inspired from predator shark.
“It is the most powerful Apache till now and is based on the Akula concept which won the ‘Best Concept Bike of Auto Expo 2016’,” an official said.
This is also the first offering from TVS for the domestic market in collaboration with BMW Motorrad. The bike will be available in two colour variants – Racing Red and Sinister Black, fabricated with the Race Spec KYB Suspension tested and tuned by MotoGP experts. (PNN)
