Sonepur: At least one person was burnt to death and another sustained critical injuries when an oil tanker caught fire after it collided with a truck on Sonepur-Sambalpur road, Wednesday.
The deceased, who is yet to be identified, was reportedly the driver of the oil tanker. The injured person, who was his helper, was admitted to a hospital at Ulunda in Sonepur district.
On receiving information, a firefighting team later rushed to spot and doused the flames. Meanwhile, vehicular movement on the road has been disrupted due to the mishap.
