Rayagada: Nineteen people were injured after their pick-up van overturned in Odisha’s Rayagada district Friday, police said.
The accident took place at Talna Ghat in the Puttasing police station area around 6 am, when about 35 workers were travelling on the van from Sagada to Padmapur, they said.
All the injured were admitted to the Gunpur sub-division hospital, an officer said.
Ten of them were discharged after primary treatment, while nine seriously injured were shifted to Paralakhemundi hospital for further treatment, he said.
Police said the vehicle has been seized, and an investigation started.
