Bhadrak: BJP is trying to gather 50,000 booth level party workers at the North Odisha booth-level convention of the party to be held at Ranital in Bhadrak February 17. Home minister Rajnath Singh will address the meeting and pass on gurumantra for the 2019 general elections.
BJP functionaries in Balasore, Bhdrak, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar are on their toes to make the meeting a success.
That apart, presidents, booth-in-charges, heads of Shkati Kendra, shakha pramukhas from 7224 booths in four parliamentary seats, BJP functionaries in Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar will attend the meeting. Party functionaries, members of executive body, workers of the seven district and mandal level morchas will attend the convention.
Singh will first pay homage to martyrs at Sahi Peethe at Iram and then visit Bhdrakali shrine before coming to the meeting venue.
Preparatory meetings of the BJP had been held in the presence of party workers from Nilagiri, Remuna and Badasahi.
Prominent BIP leaders like Dharmendra Pradhan, Jual Orma, Basant panda, KV Singhdeo, ste-incharge Arun Singh, Soudan Singh, former MLA Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Remuna MLA Gobindrachandra will be present at the meeting.
