Malkangiri: As Covid cases are increasing in the country and the state, the Malkangiri administration has been on its toes. Some safety and preventive guidelines prepared by the administration have been enforced from Wednesday.
Night curfew has been imposed from 9pm till midnight of March 31. Seven-day home quarantine has been made mandatory for the people coming to Malkangiri from other districts, a report said.
Collector Dr Y Vijay has issued guidelines keeping in view the fact that a large number of people working outside the state are coming home to take part in Badayatra. Besides, the sudden spike of Covid cases (170 persons testing positive in the last 24 hours) in the state, has left the district administration worried.
