Bhubaneswar: Governor SC Jamir will unfurl the Tricolour in capital city Bhubaneswar, while Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will do so in Cuttack on the occasion of the Republic Day celebrations.
According to a schedule drawn up by the CM, School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra will attend the flag hoisting ceremony at Baripada in Mayurbhanj district, Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera will unfurl the national flag at Sambalpur town, Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy will attend the R-day ceremony at Balasore and Forest and Rural Development Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha at Jajpur.
Women and Child Development Minister Prafulla Samal will receive the salute at a parade in Keonjhar district, while SC and ST Development Minister Ramesh Majhi and Cooperative Minister Surya Narayan Patro will hoist the national flags in Dhenkal and Puri district headquarters respectively.
Industries Minister Niranjan Pujari will unfurl the flag at Bargarh, while Revenue Minister Maheswar Mohanty will do so at Nayagarh, Steel and Mines Minister Prafulla Kumar Mallik at Sundergarh, Transport and Commerce Minister Nrusingha Sahu at Kandhamal, and Health Minister Pratap Jena at Rayagada.
Labour minister Susanta Singh will attend the ceremony at Kalahandi, while higher education minister Ananta Das will do so at Bhadrak and sports and youth affairs minister Chandra Sarathi Behera in Malkangiri district.
Tourism and culture minister Ashok Chandra Panda will hoist the flag at Chhatrapur district and textile handloom and handicraft minister Snehangini Chhuria at Sonepur.
Revenue divisional commissioner (RDC) south and north will hoist the flags at Berhampur and Rourkela towns respectively. In the remaining 11 districts, the concerned Collectors will unfurl the Tricolour at the district headquarters.
