Kendrapara: Tension prevailed among students in the Pattamundai College in this district over the entry of some anti-social elements in the college campus Monday.
Protesting against the entry of anti-socials, the college students locked the educational institution and staged a protest.
According to reports, some anti-social youths had entered the campus and threatened the students with a gun Monday. A case has been registered at the local police station.
Protesting the hooliganism, the students Tuesday morning burned tyres and demanded the arrest of the accused youths.
The students said the agitation will continue till the arrest of the miscreants.
