Keonjhar: A five-year old body from Jharkhand is now seen moving village to village in this district to propagate the Mahima cult.
The boy, known as Sadhushankar Jit Baba, draws curious crowds whenever he is with his preceptor-saint Sadhu Jagabandhu Baba on the streets.
Owing to some problems, the boy hailing from Chakradharpur was left by his family at Mahima Gadi in Joranda when he was three years old. Joranda in Dhenkanal district is the main hub of Mahima cult.
Ever since he adopted the cult, he has been waking up in the wee hours and finishing his morning ablutions before setting out for propagation of the cult and begging alms for yajna.
The boy is welcomed by people wherever he goes. Amazed by his devotion and sincerity, people wish him well and see in him a promising Sadhu in future. PNN
