Mumbai: Actor Aamir Khan is on a break from his acting career these days. He announced hiatus after the release of his film, Lal Singh Chaddha’s dismal performance last year.
There are many speculations about his surprising decision. It’s worth noting that Aamir returned to the big screen with Lal Singh Chaddha after nearly four years. Again, he took a break. What’s the reason behind the pause? Aamir Khan has recently reacted to this.
Though being on respite, Aamir is often seen at events. Recently, he appeared at a book launch event. During the event, the actor was asked about his break. Responding to this, Aamir Khan said, “People close to me make fun of me. They always say – You are always on break. Tu filmein hi kaha karta hai, jo tu ab break par hai.” He further said, ‘When I am doing a film as an actor, I get so lost in it that I don’t see anything else in life. This is the reason why I decided to take a break.”
Aamir Khan said, ‘I was about to shoot for Champions, after Lal Singh Chaddha— a wonderful and heart-touching film.”
It is believed that the Hindi film industry’s Mr. Perfectionist may be on a hiatus now, but he is getting offers.
According to reports, KGF director Prashant Neel has approached Aamir Khan for his upcoming film. Junior NTR will be seen in a lead role in this film.
Apart from this, Aamir Khan may soon join YRF’s Spy Universe. It is being said that after Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan will also be seen entertaining the audience with a spy thriller film.
