Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Wednesday released the second merit list in Science, Commerce and Arts streams for admission into various Plus-II courses at several higher secondary schools in Odisha for the academic session of 2023-24.
The list was published on the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Odisha portal.
As per an official source, a total of 70,105 students have been selected in the second merit list. Out of total 70,105 students, around 3,185 students were selected for Commerce; nearly 4,90,709 for Arts and as many as 16,927 students were shortlisted for admission into Science stream.
Besides, 353 and 573 students were selected for Sanskrit and Vocational courses respectively.
The first merit list was earlier published July 6. As per the official records, over 4 lakh students were selected and 3,43,769 students have taken admissions in the first phase.
