New Delhi / Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Pavilion has been chosen for the Best Pavilion Award at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, held at the India Pavilion complex in New Delhi.
This is the fourth consecutive year Odisha has received the honour, having won the award for the past three years. The award ceremony is scheduled for Thursday.
The theme of this year’s trade fair, “One India, Best India”, was reflected in the Odisha Pavilion’s design, which highlighted the state’s rich cultural heritage, traditional sculpture and development vision up to 2036.

The pavilion showcased the successful implementation of people-centric government schemes, demonstrating Odisha’s commitment to inclusive growth, modernisation and the preservation of tradition to national and international visitors.
The pavilion features a diverse array of exhibits, including premium agricultural products, handlooms, handicrafts and items crafted by self-help groups. Its design and presentation have garnered attention and appreciation from officials and dignitaries nationwide.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida inaugurated the pavilion November 14.
During the fair, several prominent leaders and guests, including Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo, Science and Technology Minister Krushna Chandra Patra, former cricketer and MP Yusuf Pathan, and Odisha MPs Anita Subhadarshini and Pratap Sarangi, visited the pavilion.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended as the chief guest for Odisha Day November 22. The Odisha Pavilion is organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations, which has effectively managed the state’s presentation at IITF, reinforcing Odisha’s image as a hub of heritage, culture and innovation.
