A video of a monkey trying to console a crying woman during a funeral is going viral on social media platforms. The bizarre incident has been reported from Nargund, a town in Karnataka.
The video shot during a funeral shows a woman crying. Meanwhile, the monkey comes from nowhere and walks up to the woman, puts its hands on her shoulder and then pats her head to console her.
According to reports, the incident was recorded after the death of an 80-year-old man in Nargund, when his relatives gathered to grieve with the family.
Reportedly, the monkey entered the house, consoled the man’s relatives for some time and then eventually walked away.
After the video was posted online it was shared widely, with some people even remembering the Hanuman Jayanti festival which happens to be today.
According to the reports, the monkey was also spotted at other funerals before.
