Bhubaneswar, Dec 24: Five horses of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) were taken to Delhi Wednesday to participate in the Republic Day Camp 2015.
Of the five horses, one horse, Tarzan, is going to participate in the event for the first time.
Another, Valentine, has participated several times earlier and earned several medals, including a gold last year.
The other three horses taken to Delhi are Tashan, Manchali and Trexi.
Along with the horses a team of five care takers, vet HN Prasad, nayab rasildar HL Gujjar and nayab rider Binod Sharma also left for Delhi.
Four cadets, Chintoo Dash, Jakesh Kumar Dash, Lakhmi Priya Behera and Runita Badajena, and senior under officer Girija Shankar Dash will leave for the national capital Delhi December 27.
