Dubai: For India and captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teams the word ‘rest’ doesn’t exists. Virat Kohli has reached here with other members of the RCB team Friday. Since then, he is keeping himself busy in isolation by doing strenuous workouts. It should also be stated here that RCB’s South African cricketers – AB de Villiers and Dale Steyn reached here Saturday.
All the players will be in quarantine for the next few days and they will undergo multiple coronavirus tests. Only after their reports come out negative they will be allowed to enter the training arena. But for Kohli the quarantine period does not mean rest. Kohli posted a picture of his on his Instagram account after a strenuous workout session. He captioned the picture, “Keep putting in the work.” Later in the day RCB shared the same picture on their official Twitter handle captioning it, “No days off for captain Kohli.”

IPL-2020 is crucial for RCB. Kohli and his mates will be very keen to break their IPL jinx. RCB has reached the final of the tournament a number of times, but have not been able to lay their hands on the trophy. This year, they will certainly put in their very best to get the title.
The IPL-13 matches will be played across three venues in the UAE – Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The tournament will last 53 days. There are apprehensions among all the eight teams as to how the pitches will be. Normally the pitches in the UAE tend to be slow.
This is not the first time that the UAE will host the tournament. It hosted the event partially in 2014 due to the general elections in India.
