Bhubaneswar: Odisha Tourism and Culture minister Ashok Chandra Panda Wednesday launched special tour packages for the upcoming car festival at Puri, slated for July 14.
The package would be implemented from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur for both budget and high-end tourists.
The OTDC also launched special buses for the Rath Yatra at Panthanivas in Bhubaneswar, Wednesday.
The Grand Central hotel rooftop package will cost Rs 4,199 per head for tourists from Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and Rs 5,249 from Sambalpur.
Sambalpur tourists will leave Sambalpur July 13 evening for Puri and will be back to Bhubaneswar July 14 after the event and will have their dinner at Panthanivas. The economy group can avail the package at Rs 2,099 per head for the JB Mutt rooftop.
The AC bus for both the packages will leave by 6am from Panthanivas Bhubaneswar to Puri. The Jagannath Ballav mutt rooftop package arrangements shall be operated only from Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The package includes AC transport, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, snacks and guide service.
