Paradip: A woman allegedly committed suicide after killing her five-year-old son at Sunthala village under Nuagaon police limits in Jagatsinghpur district Saturday.
Sources said, the woman strangled her son to death over a family dispute and then killed herself. However, the family members reportedly cremated them without informing the police.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and started inquiring into the matter.
Neighbours said the woman was mentally unstable and over even a petty issue she used to pick up quarrels with her son and other family members.
