Bhubaneswar: The woman traffic constable accused of slapping the daughter of an Odisha police ADG Thursday filed a police complaint Friday at the Capital police station.
The daughter of Additional Director General (ADG) of Railways and Coastal Security Pranabindu Acharya had Thursday accused the constable Pushpalata Bhoi of stopping her car and slapping her at the traffic post near AG square.
The girl had Thursday alleged that the constable stopped and slapped her for no fault on her. “As the traffic lights turned green, I proceeded. But the constable stopped me. I asked her to let me go and proceeded, but she came and slapped,” she had said.
Meanwhile, while the Commissionerate Police is examining the CCTV footage of the incident.
