Deogarh: One person died while two other sustained critical injuries in a road mishap on the stretch from Chatibara Ghat to Gohira dam under Tileibani block in Deogarh district.
The deceased is identified as Goutam Nayak of Kansar village in the block from Mahuladhipa Sahi in Deogarh town; the injured were identified as Saswat Parida and Bhabani Sahoo of the same town.
The trio was heading towards Gohira dam on a car when the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels and rammed into a tree. Goutam died on the spot and leaving the other two grievously injured.
The injured were admitted to hospital for treatment.
On receipt of information, police reached the spot, seized the body and started an investigation into the incident.
