12 IAS, 11 IPS officers deployed to supervise relief operations  

Bhubaneswar:  After announcing deployment of five senior IAS officers to supervise relief, rehabilitation and restoration works in some of the districts Wednesday, the state government Wednesday released a fresh and revised list of IAS and IPS officers to supervise the relief and rescue operations.

According to the new list, 12 IAS and 11 IPS officers have been deployed in districts that are likely to be worst-hit.

The IAS officers are – Suresh Chandra Mohapatra in Puri, Sudarshan Pal Thakur in Bhadrak, Pradeep Kumar Jena in Kendrapara, Sanjiv Chopra in Cuttack, Saswata Mishra in Jagatsinghpur, Krishan Kumar in Khurda, Anil Kumar Samal in Jajpur, Hemanta Kumar Padhi in Kendrapara, Sangramjit Nayak in Cuttack and CMC, Prem Chandra Chaudhary in Balasore, Abdaal Akhtar in Balasore and Monisha Banerjee has been attached to the Special Releif Commissioner.

The list of IPS officers deployed are – SK Upadhyay in Jajpur, Pranabindu Acharya in Jagatsinghpur, Vinaytosh Mishra in Bhadrak, RP Koche in Khurda, Soumendra Priyadarshi in Puri, Arun Bothra in Kendrapara, Amitabh Thakur in Ganjam, Ghanshyam Upadhyay in Nayagarh, Amitendra Nath Sinha in Balasore, Nikhil Kumar Kanodia in Cuttack and Shefeen Ahmed K in Mayurbhanj.

They have been asked to report to duty at their designated places by Wednesday afternoon.
