Aska: The body of a 14-year-old boy was recovered Tuesday morning from a secluded spot along Khandrabali-Ramanapalli road under Gangapur police limits in Ganjam district, a source said.
The deceased has been identified as Amar Bishoyi, son of Babu Bishoyi of Khandrabali village. Authorities suspect the death may be a case of murder, as the body showed signs of severe injury from a sharp weapon.
Gangapur police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation. The circumstances leading to Amar’s death remain unclear, the source added.

According to family members, he went out of his home Sunday afternoon and did not return. Following an extensive search, the family filed a complaint with Gangapur police, Monday. Amar was a Class-9 student at Kendupadar High School.
