Chhatrapur: Ganjam district administration Saturday distributed laptops to 19 visually impaired students, in a significant move towards inclusive education and learning.
A special event was organised by the District Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities department in the Ganjam Collectorate here with ADM Sunil Kumar Kerketta distributing the laptops to the students.
Laptops are crucial in the era of digital education and these shall certainly help boost their confidence, clarify their thoughts and sharpen their overall knowledge and learning skills, ADM Kerketta said.
Among the other attendees present during the event were the District Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Officer Krushna Chandra Behera, Sub-Divisional Officer Sasmita Swain and other officials of the department.
