2.0 continues to rule box office, enters $5 million club in US

New Delhi: Seems like Megastar Rajinikanth and Khiladi Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 is unstoppable at the box office.

After breaking all major records, the second franchise of Robot has created another record. The movie has entered the US$5 Million Club in USA.

The film had a thunderous start at home and also made a mark at the global level. Audiences loved all the movie in all languages. The movie has left move lovers thrilled by the brilliant work of VFX in the film and the social cause it imbibes.

With an estimated budget of over Rs 550 crore, 2.0 is the costliest Indian movie ever made.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared the latest box office number of the Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson’s film and said, “2Point0 enters the US$5 Million Club in USA! Thalaivar once again setting a new milestone at the Box Office.. Sunday-$200,502 From 256 Locs…Total Gross-$5,000,420 [$5 Million]” Collectively, 2.0 stands at a gross collection of Rs 603 crore approximately and stands only next to Baahubali.

Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is the sequel to 2010’s Enthiran (Robot). Rajinikanth plays the roles of Dr Vaseegaran and Chitti in this movie. In 2.0, Chitti is brought back to life by Dr Vaseegaran to fight Pakshirajan, played by Akshay Kumar. 2.0 also stars Sudhanshu Panday, Adil Hussain and Amy Jackson.
