Balasore: Police Sunday night seized two coal-laden trucks on NH 16 near Bharat Petroleum fuel pump under Khantapada police limits and arrested two persons.
Acting on a tip-off, Khantapada police intercepted two trucks late in the night.
According to available information, one truck was carrying 20 tonnes of coal while another one was loaded with 15 tonnes. The heavy vehicles were carrying coal from Bhadrak to neighbouring Jharkhand state.
The drivers failed to produce valid documents for coal transport following which they were taken into custody and vehicles have been seized.
