Odagaon: Two rooms of Bhagaban Biswal and Manoranjan Swain were gutted after a fire broke out at Panchirida Majhi sahi near Odagaon tehsil in Nayagarh district early Wednesday.
The fire started when food was being prepared inside the cow shed for cattle and cows. Once the dry straws caught fire, the flames spread rapidly to the adjacent rooms. Luckily no loss of life was reported due to the prompt action taken by the locals.
Locals spotted smoke billowing out from one of the rooms. On being informed the fire personnel rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
