Berhampur, April 23: Three persons died Thursday in two separate road accidents in local police district.
In the first incident, two bike-borne youths from Chhatrapur direction hit a stationary truck from rear near Haladiapadar filling station under Golanthara police limits. Bike rider Bhabani Shankar Pattasani (27) and pillion rider Nitesh Kumar Sahoo (28) of Kurjang village of Khurda district were thrown away to a distance under the impact of the collision. Both died on the spot. Police took possession of the bodies and seized the vehicle.
Kishan Muli (22), son of Dandapani Muli of Ainabandh Sahi of Old Berhampur under Badabazar police limits died after falling from a passenger bus at Brundabatinagar Chhak here. The driver moved the vehicle while Kishan was getting down from the bus. He came under the wheels of the bus and died on the spot. Police arrived at the spot and seized the bus.
