Bhawanipatna/Koksara: Police arrested three persons including two minors on charges of making objectionable comments on ‘Rath’ in social networking sites, under Koksara block of Kalahandi district, Wednesday.
Among them, two of the accused are minors while one of them is an administrator of a Whatsapp group. The third accused was identified as Subal Singh, 20 of Charbahal village and administrator of another Whatsapp group. The accused after their arrest were taken for interrogation. Later, Singh was produced in a court while the two minors were produced at Bhawanipatna juvenile court. Both the courts rejected their bail pleas.
Earlier, Koksara police registered cases in their names following complaints filed by various Hindu outfits Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and local unit of BJP at Bhawanipatna Town police station. Two of the minor are residents of the area while Singh is a native of Charbahal village of Temra panchayat.
