3 pairs of spl trains from April

Bhubaneswar, March 31: The Railways has decided to introduce three pairs of summer special trains under the East Coast Railway (ECoR) to meet the summer rush.
The trains are the Howrah-Yesvantpur premium special via Bhubaneswar and Renigunta, the Howrah-Chennai AC and the Santragachhi-Ernakulam premium service.
The Howrah-Yesvantpur service will leave Howrah at 12.40 pm on Fridays and reach Yesvantpur at 11.15 pm the next day between April 3 and June 26. In the return direction, it would leave Yesvantpur at 10.45 am on Sundays and arrive at Howrah at 6.30 pm between April 5 and June 28. The train will stop at Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam.
The Howrah-Chennai AC special train will leave Howrah at 12.40 pm on Tuesdays and reach Chennai at 2.50 pm on Wednesdays between April 7 and April 21. In the return direction, it will leave Chennai at 5.10 pm on Wednesdays and arrive at Howrah at 6.30 pm between April 8 and 22. It will stop at Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road and Vizag.
The Santragachi-Ernakulam service will leave Santragachhi at 5.30 pm on Saturdays and reach Ernakulam at 6 am between April 4 and June 26. In the return direction, it will leave Ernakulam at 8.50 am on Tuesdays and arrive at Santragachi at 11 pm between April 7 and June 30. ECoR will add one AC three-tier coach permanently to the Puri-LTT Express via Sambalpur.
Last week, the Railways decided to add AC-3 tier coaches to Jodhpur, Sai Nagar Shirdi and Mumbai-bound trains from Puri from first week of April.
