Bhubaneswar: Four climbers from Orissa will represent the state in the upcoming East Zone Climbing Championships at Jamshedpur, November 10-13, Sports Climbing Association of Orissa (SCAO) treasurer Chittaranjan Swain announced at Utkal Karate School here Wednesday.
The climbers are Anupama Swain, Rajani Bishi, Manoj Kumar Dakua and Bishnu Kolar. Also present at the meeting was Kumar Gaurav, the 2012 National Games bronze medallist. “This is a good opportunity for the climbers and they should make the most of it.” He also said that he is trying to help the climbers, by giving inputs about the techniques and strategies.
