Athagarh: In an incident of man-animal conflict, four persons sustained grievous injuries after they were attacked by a wild boar at Kandarpur village near Athagarh forest range in Cuttack district Friday.
According to sources, the wild boar attacked the victims when they were going to a nearby pond to take bath in the morning.
At first, the injured were rushed to Athagarh hospital and later they were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after their condition deteriorated.
Getting information, forest officials rushed to the spot and drove the wild boar away from the human settlement.
