Paying a tribute to the essential blue jeans, Orissa Post brings you some of the vintage styles of that die-hard-fans of jeans swear by:
Magic of boot-cut denims: This style was frequently used by the sailors in 18th century. Today, it has successfully made a comeback into the fashion industry. The boot-cut style later evolved into bell-bottomed jeans with wider flare than the former. Finally, it became popular again in 2015. It is best to team it up with a white top or a ruffled tee.
Let it go skinny: These slim cut jeans were popular in the 50s. Marilyn Monroe and Roy Rogers had popularized these. Today, they are definitely a fashion staple. T-shirts or crop tops look the best with these.
High-waist jeans: High-rise denims were admired in the ’40s. Actors Katherine Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich hyped the trend of wearing the high-waists. Today, it is a must-have for youngsters here. Crop tops go well with the high waists.
