9 districts get new collectors

Bhubaneswar, April 16: The state government Thursday effected a major reshuffle of bureaucrats in which collectors of nine districts have been shifted. The 2001 batch IAS Bishnu Prasad Sahoo is the new vice-chairman of Cuttack Development Authority, while the 2003 batch IAS Anil Kumar Samal is the new director of Information and Public Relations. The 2008 batch IAS Yamini Sarangi is now the collector of Kandhamal. The 2009 batch IAS Bijay Ketan Upadhyaya is new collector Jagatsinghpur. The 2009 batch IAS V Jaya Kumar is new collector of Koraput. The 2009 batch IAS N Thirumala Nayak is the new collector Keonjhar. The 2010 batch IAS Rasmita Panda is the new collector of Nabarangpur. The 2010 batch IAS D Brunda is the new collector of Kalahandi. The 2010 batch IAS Sadique Alam is the new collector of Nuapada. Senior OAS officer Pramod Das is the new additional secretary to the School and Mass Education department and senior OAS officer Debaraj Senapati is the new collector of Kendrapara. Senior OAS officer Satya Malik is the new collector of Jajpur.
