Rourkela: In a novel way to improve healthcare services and stop the practice of bribery at the Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH), a group of youths associated with an outfit named Spark resorted to begging near the railway station here Sunday.
The youths alleged that patients do not get good healthcare services at the RGH, while the doctors and staffers lack sincerity in serving the patients.
Another serious allegation they brought was that the hospital staffers sell medical kits and other things that are meant for free supply to patients.
The activists also alleged out that patients having health insurance are deprived of medical entitlements.
Even some patients have to pay bribe for dressing their wounds, they claimed. PNN
