Shergad: A man was killed in a road accident near the petrol pump on Digapahandi-Shergad Road in Ganjam district Friday night. The deceased was identified as Babula Swain of Gandhi Chhak in Patapur.
Sources said when Babula was going towards Shergarh on his motor cycle, his bike collided head on with an auto coming from a different direction near petrol bunk.
Locals rushed Babula to Shergarh hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
On getting information, police reached the spot, seized the vehicles and sent the body for post mortem Saturday . Police started investigation after registering a case.
