Bhubaneswar: Audition for the premier singing reality show ‘Indian Idol’ would be held in the capital city here. The audition is scheduled for Monday, May 7, at KIIT campus.
The presence of talents from Odisha and their successful performance in previous seasons are believed to be the reasons for holding the audition here. Noted singer Neha Kakkar as also Vishal Dadlani and Anu Malik are attending the audition as judges.
Indian Idol, nationally telecast by a private entertainment channel, has gone a long way in bringing many a hidden talent to the fore. With the tag-line ‘Khabar Phelado’, several cities have been chosen to host the audition.
Besides Bhubaneswar, the auditions will be held in Jaipur, Indore, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Gauhati, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai.
