Bonai: A seven-year-old boy drowned in a nullah while taking bath at Tikayatpali in Sundargarh district Friday. The deceased was identified as Mukteshwar Kishan alias Munna of Kantasara village.
The incident occurred when he had gone with his parents to his maternal grandfather’s house. He had been to the nullah to take bath when he accidentally slipped and drowned.
Family members rescued and rushed him to the Bonai sub-divisional hospital where he was pronounced dead by doctors. Police handed over the body to his family members after post-mortem.
