Rourkela: A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 15-year-old boy from Sundhikana near Bonai in Sundargarh Wednesday.
While her parents had gone out for work, the minor boy, who is a child labourer, allegedly raped the girl.
When her parents returned, the girl narrated the incident, following which they lodged a complaint with the police.
Police conducted a medical examination of the victim at the local hospital.
The accused, who has been detained, will be produced before the juvenile court Thursday, police said.
