After his birth, he spotted a mole that kept growing with unusual flesh growth with age covering his face, chest and right hand.

Ram Chandra took him to various hospitals, visited many doctors. But the disease could not be diagnosed properly.

Following media reports, the district administration sent a team who brought Kanha to MKCG Medical College and Hospital for treatment July 18 when the team decided to treat Kanha.

In first phase, operation was done on his face and chest as the growth on these body parts were growing.

The doctors also assured Ram Chandra that there would be no risk to his life in the course of the surgical procedure.

Cursing his poverty, Ram Chandra said as he is poor, it took more time for Kanha to get medical treatment. “My son would get a new life only if the district administration and the state government provide financial assistance for his treatment,” he added.
