Kandhamal: Three persons were arrested for allegedly abducting a lady teacher in Tumudibandha area of Kandhamal district Saturday.
The arrested have been identified as Srikant Majhi, a teacher at Badipanga Primary School in the district, and his two associates – Chagala Majhi and Nasri Majhi.
The police also rescued the teacher from Srikant’s house at Dandadabadi, reports said.
According to sources, the trio allegedly abducted the teacher of Dangeshiguda UP School while she was taking class in the school.
Later, a complaint was filed at Tumudibandha police station in this connection.
