Bhubaneswar: The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) will stage protest against the hike in prices of petrol and diesel across the state from September 7 to 9, the party said in a press release Tuesday.
Activists of Biju Mahila Janata Dal, Biju Yuva Janata Dal and Biju Chhatra Janata Dal will stage protests at various places in the state during the three days in a phased manner from 10 am to 12 noon.
Besides, programmes will be organised by the party at major petrol pumps for awareness of fuel consumers regarding the price hike, the release said.
The party has blamed the BJP led-Central Government for the rapid increase in the fuel price.
