Puri: A teenage girl was allegedly sexually abused by her teacher’s husband at Talasahi of Anlajodi village in Puri district.
Though the incident occurred three days ago, the matter came to light Sunday morning after a group of BJP activists staged a demonstration in the village, demanding the arrest of the accused.
The accused Abhimanyu Sahu has been absconding after the incident.
According to reports, the teacher is also the Sarpanch of Anlajodi panchayat.
Three days ago, the girl’s father saw Abhimanyu misbehaving with his daughter.
On reaching home, the victim narrated her ordeal following which the family members lodged a complaint with the police.
