Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Saturday appointed Rajya Sabha member Soumya Ranjan Patnaik as the senior party observer of undivided Koraput district while Balikuda-Erasama MLA Prasanta Muduli has been made working president of Jagatsinghpur district BJD in addition to incumbent president Bishnu Das.
A press release by Rajya Sabha member and BJD general secretary Prashanta Nanda stated, “In supersession to all previous orders, the Biju Janata Dal president, Naveen Patnaik has appointed the following leaders to the posts mentioned below”:
1: Soumya Ranjan Patnaik – Senior Observer, undivided Koraput district
2: Prafulla Kumar Mallick – District President, BJD, Dhenkanal district
3: Dr Nrusingha Charan Sahoo – General Secretary, State Biju Janata Dal
4: Pratap Jena – Co-Observer for Jagatsinghpur district in addition to District Observer, Angul district
5: Ashok Chandra Panda – District President, Biju Janata Dal Organisational District, Bhubaneswar
6: Prasanta Muduli – Working President, Biju Janata Dal, Jagatsinghpur district
7: Bijaya Kumar Nayak – Co-Observer, Dhenkanal district
