Tihidi: A college girl student died after being swept away in Kundi river at Radhanga village of Dolasahi panchayat under Tihidi block in Bhadrak district Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sasmita Jena, a Plus II student of Paliabandha College.
According to reports, Sasmita accidentally slipped into the deep water while she had gone to the river bank to attend nature’s call.
The local residents recovered her body floating near the river bank.
On being informed, the police reached the spot, seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.
