Khurda: At least 55 picnickers were injured after the bus they were travelling in ran into the old toll gate and overturned at Gangapada on Kolkata-Chennai National Highway-16 in this district Monday night.
The injured, 10 of whom were said to be critical, have been rushed to hospitals. Some are under treatment at AIIMS and some others are receiving treatment at some other hospitals in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, computer professionals of Data Pro organization working at Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra of Odagaon branch in Nayagarh district headquarters and their family members were on a picnic in a bus.
